In 2018, as Scotiabank embarked on a comprehensive re-branding initiative, RK Interiors was entrusted with the design and construction of two flagship branches: one nestled in Sky Pointe Landing, Calgary, and the other in Chappelle Commons, Edmonton. This dual undertaking was not just about creating spaces; it was a synchronized effort spanning two cities, each at the forefront of Scotiabank's evolving brand identity.
The challenge was multifaceted. With construction proceeding simultaneously in distinct locations amid Scotiabank's re-branding drive, precision was paramount. Our teams from Calgary and Edmonton orchestrated weekly progress meetings to meticulously scrutinize drawings, specifications, and client communications. This collaborative approach ensured that all details were synchronized and executed flawlessly across both projects.
The proactive cross-checking process proved invaluable, revealing discrepancies in branding documents that might otherwise have slipped through the cracks. From day one, we established a rigorous project initiation checklist, a roadmap that guided us through each phase.
